Dedication
To our husbands who give us the time and support needed to be as much as we can be. To our family, relatives and friends who critic our work and encourage us. Thank you for believing in our dreams.
About Mix & Match Crafts, by B.A.C.H.
We are located in a small town in Ontario, Canada. We met in April of 2006 when Anna Basa approached Helene Coyle about a business idea which would encompass both of our talents.
When it came to choosing a name for our business, we struggled. We wanted something that would tell you our customer what we were all about. After taking a closer look at our craft product, " Mix & Match Crafts by BACH" was born. This name seemed to say it all because our dolls and their accessories can be mixed and matched. The "BACH" in our name stands for B=Basa, A=Anna, C=Coyle and H=Helene. Hence, we have what we feel is a perfect blend of out product and partnership.
We enjoy making these hand crafted dolls and hope you will too. As a valued customer we appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Thank you for your interest in our work!
Sincerely
Helene & Anna

I was born and raised in Marathon, Ontario until the age of twelve. My parents and eight siblings then began the first of many moves, affording me the opportunity of living in some of Canada's most beautiful provinces.
In my early teens, I took up oil painting with my mother who is an accomplished artist herself. As fate would have it, my canvas and brushes were soon put aside to make way for the busy life of wife and motherhood.
In 1984, my husband Rick, myself and our three children moved back to my home town of Marathon, Ontario. By 1987, we were well settled and so I started up a home based business in the window covering industry which I still run to this date. In recent years Rick and I have become a proud grand parents of two wonderful boys.
After twenty nine years of absence from painting, I finally took out my brushes and began to paint once again. Today, my medium of choice is acrylics, but I also paint in oils, and watercolor. I am a portrait and landscape artist, and of course, I tole paint as well.
I have studied with well known landscape artist Herschel Payne of Ottawa and local artist Sylvie Bodnarchuk of Marathon. In recent years I taught tole painting in the "Art in the Park" series at Pukaskwa National Park, Ontario. I have also showcased in art tours, trade shows and exhibitions.
In 2006, Anna Basa introduced herself to me, and proposed a business plan. Since then we have become not only partners in a new business, but good friends as well.
Presently, I continue to paint and teach from my home studio.

I have a lovely husband and one beautiful son. His like a little Angel sent to us. He sure knows how to keep us busy. I love Canada very much. The geography is so much different than what I was used to. It is simply beautiful. But before I moved here I used to live in Hungary. Hungary is a small, lovely country in Europe. When you are visiting Europe make sure you stop there for a visit!
I got interested in art when I was 14 years old. I found the Japanese animation characters are so unique and they inspired me to draw. From that day forward, I was never far from a pencil and sketch pad. At first my work was not something I could be proud of, but over time my skills improved a great deal. I have a story book that I am working on, and hope to get it published soon.
I also enjoy building and designing websites. I love the challenge since it is always changing and I like to adapt the new techniques.
My expertise in Website Design and Building is: Adobe Flash, Front Page, Corel Photo-Paint, Corel Painter, Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop Cs3, Adobe Illustrator, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, HTML. I also understand CGI, PHP, JavaScript and CSS.
I designed our website for Mix & Match Crafts and I take care of the updates and maintenance as well.
I got into crafting in April of 2006 when I started designing the Chiebee Dolls with Helene. I like crafting and the designing of the dolls along with their accessories. It is something new and exciting for me to do.
