My Chiebee dolls are unique. They are the brain child of Anna Basa who has designed each and every aspect of the dolls which are multinational, unisex and can be mix and matched with any outfit, hair style, background or signage. The mix and matching of the dolls accessories, is accomplished with Velcro strips.

Each doll and its accessories are Hand Crafted by us in Canada.

The dolls are approximately 18" high and 13" in width, and are strung with jute or wire. We also add a wire basket on the signage to accommodate the chalk and eraser. The chalk board signage is ideal for leaving messages, or the signage can be painted, ie: 'Bonnie's Tea Room'. The signage board has a frame that is interchangeable with any other style of frame.

To date, we offer three nationalities, African American, Native American, and Caucasian. The dolls can be male or female and come with many different hair styles and colors choices that can be changed at any time. The front hair style and face, adds another dimension to the doll. The customer can choose from different facial features to personalize their Chiebee doll, along with their choice of eye, hair and skin color.

We have a large variety of outfits to fit any occasion, celebration, or theme. Most of the outfits come with a hat and foot ware. Some of the outfits are 3-D in that they might have some ribbons, flowers, laces etc. on them. (ie: The hockey player has a twine for the laces on his skates.)

The Chiebee Dolls also have the option of adding a background. This is attached to the back of the doll with Velcro. To date, we have a background for each of the four seasons plus a city scene.

The wood products are of the highest grade of Baltic Birch and the instructions are exceptionally pictorial for easy step by step painting tips and information.

Step 1 Here is My Chiebee Doll's base body with a chalkboard attached. The body is Unisex and it can be dressed up for a Girl or a Boy. Every piece is made out of wood and hand painted by us. All pieces are held together with Velcro.	Step 2 Add My Chiebee Doll's back hair . A little chain is attached to each back hair piece that clips on to the chalkboard to keep the balance of the doll in place once it's removed from the wall or from the door.	Step 3 Add the front face/hair of My Chiebee Doll.	Step 4 Add the colorful frame over the chalkboard and for least but not last dress up My Chiebee Doll in an outfit of your choice. If you have a background add that behind the base doll.

What is the purpose of Chiebee Dolls

We can't tell you enough how much fun we are having with these dolls. They serve a great purpose if you enjoy crafts in your home. You can hang the doll on your front door to welcome guests and in your kitchen, or in a child's room. We even had customers who have bought them for their business. (ie: Family services, Bed and Breakfast, etc)

Why the dolls are called Chiebee? Does it have a meaning?

Anna has been inspired by the Japanese anime art in so many ways. At times the characters are drawn in such style that the head is much bigger compare to the body and called chibi characters. Our dolls are representing that style and we thought that name suits our dolls perfectly.
